Default Penetrating Blow/Chop

Are penetrating Blow/Chop viable skills, would the armor pen. be useful on a bar?

So far I mainly use triple chop, exec. strike, and dismember as my axe skills

i find them rather weak skills to use. Pretty much all the other axe skills have better advantages than the "poor" 20% AP bonus.

After all, they do the same bonus damage than for example agonizing chop, but instead of 20% AP, you get a fast attack that interupts a target with a deep wound (doing executioner's - eviscerate - agonizing, or, in your case, triple chop - dismember - agonizing on a monk foe is just sweet, as you usually hit their healing attempt and interupt it). Same comparison can be made for other skills

They're weak +dmg skills, whose AP don't stack with Strength.
There's much better attack skills to consider for an Axe bar, Executioner's Strike, Bull's Strike and Agonizing Chop are all superior skills.
